Virginia Anne Larrimore Bradshaw, 61, of Princess Anne and formerly of Rhodes Point, Smith Island, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at her home.

Born in Cambridge on July 29, 1949, she was the daughter of the late John and Mildred Jarrett Larrimore. Her husband, Hollie R. Bradshaw, died Jan. 10, 1998.

She moved to Smith Island at the age of 16, and had been making her home in Princess Anne since 2004. She was an assistant manager at Dollar General in Princess Anne for 6 years, and was a caretaker for the elderly for many years. She was a hard-worker. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church on Rhodes Point. She was a very giving person who loved everyone and put others first. Her greatest love was her family.

She is survived by four children, two grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, a brother and his wife, and several nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.

Funeral services were 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 26, 2010, at Calvary United Methodist Church on Rhodes Point, Smith Island. Pastor Rick Edmund officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.
