Arthur White, 62, of Atlanta died at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5., 1993, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospita.
Mr. White, a licensed practical nurse at Lincoln Developmental Center, led music at Bartmann Nursing Home, rural Atlanta, and at his church.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and the Free Christian Fellowship Church.
He was born Jan. 31, 1930, in Chicago, a son of Juel and Carrie Boling White. He married Ruby Jane Black on June 18, 1960, in Lincoln. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Kathryn Atchison of Atlanta and Carrie White at home; one son, Timothy at home; one brother, Raymond of Lincoln; one sister, Evelyn Jackson of Lincoln; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
Cremation rites were accorded.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Free Christian Fellowship Church, Atlanta, with Bill Martin officiating. Interment will be at a later date in Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield.
There is no visitation.
