Mr. Alexander came of one of the pioneer families of Early county. He was 73 years old in January last. He was the father of Messrs. A.E. Alexander, Geo. H. Alexander, J.F. Alexander and Howard Alexander and Mrs. M.W. Hill of Blakely and vicinity and Mrs. C.W. Hicks of Philadelphia, all of whom were with him during his last illness.
