Nelson Popham, of Florence, Kentucky, and formerly of Williamstown, Kentucky, was born February 1, 1940, in Williamstown, and died Wednesday, March 9, 2022, in Florence, at the age of 82. He was the son of the late Ronald Vane and Alice Ettatrude Brumback Popham, a retired lineman for Owen County Electric and a member of Fairview Christian Church. On October 15, 1959, he was united in marriage to his wife, Sonja Stanton Popham.
In addition to his wife, Sonja, he is survived by: a daughter, Pam J. Smith, of Cleveland, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Fairview Christian Church, in Williamstown.
