WILSON -- Memorial graveside services for former Wilson residents Kenneth Raymond and Elsie Jewel Weir Alexander, Bellville, Texas, will be at 6 p.m. Friday at Hewitt Cemetery under the direction of Alexander Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born Nov. 18, 1931, in Wilson to Ulysses R. and Della O. Roberts Alexander. He died Dec. 12, 2001, in Bellville.
Elsie was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Wilson to James J. and Edna O. Corbett Weir. She died May 25, 1997, in Bellville.
They graduated from Wilson High School and were married in June of 1951. In 1954, they moved to Bacliff, Texas, where he worked in commercial construction and she was a property manager. In 1996, they moved to Bellville.
They are survived by two daughters, Beverley Hubble, Bellville, and Mona Wilson, Dickinson, Texas; a son, Mickey, Friendswood, Texas; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He is also survived by two sisters, Ruby Heinze, Bowie, Texas, and Naomi Copeland, Branson, Mo.; and a brother, R.L., Whitesboro, Texas. He was preceded in death by brothers, Leary, Dawson "Doss," Lavoie, Clint and Lawrence. He preceded a brother, T.D.
She was preceded by sisters Lucille, Marie and Lorene; and brothers J.W. and Gene. She preceded a sister, Mildred.∼Alexander
Funeral services for Elsie Alexander will be today at 2 p.m. from Knesek Bros/Etiinger Funeral Chapel, 34 N. Masonic^ Bellville, Texas.
