SHEMWELL, Finis N. age 96, of Dayton, passed away at his residence Monday February 2, 2004. Mr. Shemwell was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia, in 1982. He is survived by three daughters and a son-in-law, Betty Wellmeier of Kettering, Marjory Shemwell of Dayton, Wanda McLain (Richard) of Kettering; a son and daughter-in-law, William Shemwell (Barbara) of Beavercreek; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandsons. The family would like to mention a special thanks to Nurse Pat Stewart, and all of his personal caregivers. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association (117 S. Main St. Dayton, OH, 45422) Funeral Services will be private. Interment in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. Arrangements by The Westbrock Funeral Home.
