Mary Elizabeth Palmer was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on December 20, 1927. She went to be with Jesus forever on June 10, 2023.
Mary thrived being a pastor's wife and ministered faithfully in many ways alongside her husband, Cliff Palmer, for over 65 years. She had a genuine love for people, a servant's heart, a humble spirit, a boldness to share her faith and was a joyful soul. She was famous for her baked homemade berry cobblers, the best on the planet.
She was preceded in death by: parents, Loren and Aubrey Stubblefield; husband of 72 years, Clifford L. Palmer; great-granddaughter, Molly Kathryn Mueller; brothers, Raymond Stubblefield, Herman Stubblefield, and Joseph Stubblefield.
Mary is survived by: daughter, Cheryl Ames (Phillip); son Steve Palmer (Teresa); four grandchildren, Briana Mueller (Garrick), Seth Ames (Lauren), Colby Palmer and Caitlyn Conrad; six great-grandchildren, Drew Ames, Emma Kate Ames, Aubrey Conrad, Megan Mueller, Abbigail Lee and Maya Palmer; one sister, Veda L. Kinyon, along with many nieces and nephews.
A memorial celebration will be held on Friday, June 16 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Centerton, Arkansas.
Dr. Grant Ethridge of Hampton Roads, Virginia, and Pastor Joshua Babb officiating. Music by Anita Wagoner Brown.
A private graveside service will take place at Memorial Gardens in Rogers, Arkansas.
