He was born January 19, 1936 in Bradford, the son of Harold James and Elma Lena (McKeever) Loudenburg. He married Donna M. Ward Dec. 27, 1985, in Toulon. She survives.
He was a graduate of Bradford High School and made all-state conference in football his senior year. He worked for the Illinois Department of Transportation and Kewanee Farm Equipment. He was a farmer in rural Bradford. He served in the U.S. Army from January 1958 to March 1960.
Also surviving are one sister, Gloria (Daniel) Huber; four brothers-in-law, Ronald (Linda) Ward, Gary Ward, Larry (Debbi) Ward and Dennis Ward; three sisters-in-law, Karen Smith, Sharon (Wally) Hammond and Fran (Arlen) Landis; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private graveside services will be in Osceola Grove Cemetery.
