Freddie Carraway, 65, a carpenter died Sunday, January 4, 2004, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. Services are 4 p.m. today at the Stringer Family Funeral Chapel in Hazlehurst with burial in the Pine Bluff Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services, 28023 Hwy. 28 is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Carraway was a lifelong native of Copiah County except for the time he served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

Survivors include: son, Rusty Fowler of Jackson; daughters, Tina Blue of Delhi, LA., Annie Lee of Houston, Texas, Emma Guana of Round Rock, Texas; brother, Doyle Carraway of Crystal Springs; 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
