Anna M. Abbondanza, 88, of Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008 in the Harrisburg Hospital.
She was born February 1, 1920 in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Joseph J. and Amelia J. (Forney) Eshleman.
Mrs. Abbondanza was a World War II Women's Army Corps Veteran and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed arts, crafts, and flower gardening.
Surviving are a daughter, Annette M. Abbondanza of Orlando, FL; 3 sons, Joseph D. Abbondanza, Jr. of Newport and Gary S. and Alan J. Abbondanza of Harrisburg; a brother, Alvin D. Eshleman of Florida; 2 sisters, Arlene L. Brightbill of Annville and Esther C. Rhine of Hershey; a grandson, Grant S. Abbondanza of Middletown; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph D. Abbondanza, Sr.
Services will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008, at 11 a.m., in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route #422 & Lucy Avenue, Hershey. Friends may call Saturday at the funeral home 1 hour prior the service. Interment will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg.
