Duane W. Belford, 69, passed away June 3, 2023 at home surrounded by his family in Lizton, Indiana. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 20, 1953 to William and Mary Belford.
He is survived by 3 sisters, Suzie Heath, Paula Caudill, Margaret "Dee" (Jim) Carter, 1 brother, Mark (Susan) Belford, 2 daughters Angela Smith, Aimee Schooler, 1 son Duane Belford II, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Proceeding him in death is his parents and youngest sister Mary Damrell.
Duane worked in the trucking industry most of his life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, motorcycles, scrapping and his cat (Boy). He will be missed dearly.
There will be graveside service for immediate family and a Celebration of Life at a later date.
