Elizabeth Diane Billingsley Floyd, 62, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2015 after a bout with cancer. She had a great love of music, and performed as a vocalist and on the keyboards.
She graduated from South Alabama with a master's degree in childhood education. Though she had no children of her own, as a second grade teacher of twenty-seven years, she helped raise more than a thousand children, some of whom, with kids of their own, still keep in touch.
She is survived by her husband, Harold G. Floyd of Fairhope, AL; her mother, Doris Antoni Billingsley of Fairhope, AL; her brother, Owen Antoni (Vallerie) Billingsley; her nieces, Sarah and Rebecca of Warrenville, IL and many other relatives and friends.
