Shirlee "June" Aaron was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. June went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 25, 2023.

She was born on February 14, 1936 in rural Maries County, Missouri. When she graduated from high school, she moved to St. Louis, Missouri. While visiting the Highlands Amusement Park, she met Alex "Glenn" Aaron. They were married on July 1, 1955 and enjoyed 53 years of married life until Glenn's passing on November 21, 2008. Their love was a beautiful example for many, and she still grieved him daily.

June was described by many as loving, kind, generous and spunky. She loved the Lord and attended church most of her life. She was also known for both her patriotism and her love for dogs. As a passionate dog lover, June considered her Bichon, Barkley, to be a member of her family.

June was also preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Lucy Walls as well as four of her siblings: L.T. (Ida) Walls, Jr., Jim Walls, Maisie (Don) Skeeters and Jackie Walls.

June is survived by her two children; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; her brother Sid; and many nieces and nephews. [Kutis] Interment July 3, 2023
