Mildred Opal Marang was the daughter of Frank Andrew Marang and Dora Luvinda Head. Her siblings were Edna M., Vera B., Lillard U., and Frank Andrew Marang Jr. Mildred married Clarence Albert Burt about 1937. They had six children. Sharon Kay, Dorothy Jean, Mike, David, Steven, and Brenda Sue Burt.
Clarence died of a heart attack May 11, 1955. He was having chest pains but was trying to finish his chores on the farm. Years later his older Brother Marion Alvin Burt would also die of a heart attack while on the road. He was a truck driver. He managed to get the truck stoped and pulled to the side of the road before he died.
