Parents: F.P. (Budd) Spratlen II and Anne Wilson (Stalder)
Laura passed away quietly in her home surrounded by her beloved pets, Tippy and Oz. She is survived by her brothers F.P. (Chip) Spratlen (Judi) and Dave Spratlen (Linda) as well as an extended family of relatives and friends.
Laura was a debutante in 1972. She attended East High School and Golden State College in southern California where she studied fashion design. Her passion for ice skating led her to work with Tim and Taffy Wood with the Ice Capades.
Laura loved animals, pets, wildlife, and all of nature. She will be remembered as a champion for abused and neglected animals as well as all of the neighborhood birds and squirrels who congregated at her house for treats.
Always up for a laugh, her witty sense of humor and playfulness will be missed by all who truly knew her.
A memorial service will be held June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Grand Lake Cemetery.
