Cinda Lou Horne Rowe, 80 of Ashland, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday June 22, 2023, in Community Hospice Care Center.
Cinda was born May 10, 1943 in Ashland, Kentucky to the late Ralph Lee Horne Sr. and Edith Marie McSorley Horne.
Cinda was a Christian, loved animals, cooking, arts and crafts of all kinds, was an avid Cincinnati Red and UK Wildcats fan. She enjoyed reading books, working puzzles, watching Judge Judy and Maury Povich. She was also a competitive Dr. Mario player.
In addition to her parents, Cinda was preceded in death by a son, Paul Rowe, Jr.; an infant daughter, Annette Marie Rowe; granddaughters, MarleyAnn Stith and Tiffany Daniels Rowe; a sister, Barb Whitt; and a brother, Ralph Lee "Buck" Horne.
Cinda leaves behind her loving husband of 63 years, Paul Cecil Rowe, SR of Ironville; one son, Paul Michael Rowe (Stephanie Marie) of Harrisburg, PA; one daughter, Kimberly Hunt (Mike) of Westwood; Daughter in law Annetta Rowe (Daniel) of Flatwoods; grandchildren, Marandy Rowe (David), Michael Hunt (Bobbie), April Kosobud (Kenneth), Caleb Hunt (Haley) Melodie and Madelyn; great grandchildren, Aubrey Nolan, Dylan Greathouse, Derren Greathouse, Ayla Nolan, K.J. Kosobud, Iris Loucinda "Lou" Nolan, Jordan Kosobud, along with a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at 3pm at Caniff Funeral Home by Pastor Bryan Whitt. Visitation will be from 1 – 3 pm at Caniff Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Dixon Cemetery.
