Nancy Burks Webster, 80, of Amherst passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years husband Gene Perry Webster, her father Herbert E. Burks, and her mother Sammie Sheppard Burks.

In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Burks; her sisters Jane Davis, Helen Burks, Ann Hanna, and Betty Puckett, and an infant great-grandchild Angel in Heaven.

Left to cherish her memories are her children Greg E. Grubbs and his wife Melody, E.W. Grubbs and his wife Stephanie; her siblings Shirley Lane, and Pat Spitler; her grandchildren Ashley Wallace and her husband Jon, Amber Grubbs, Taylor Grubbs and his wife Destiny, Christopher Grubbs and his wife Casey, Hannah Mason; and her great-grandchildren Craig Nichols, Nolan Graham, Colson Grubbs, and Brooklyn Jade.

A Celebration of Nancy's life will be held Monday, June 26, 2023, at 11:00 am at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Derek Hamby officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Briarwood Memorial Gardens. Those wishing to send memorial contributions are asked to consider Randolph Memorial Baptist Church's Building Fund.
