Ordean Scott Morris Arnold, 84 passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Landmark Lifestyle facility in Tupelo. She was known by many unique names from family members, she enjoyed quilting, antiques and collecting Hull pottery. She retired from Lucky Star Industries and was a member of Grace Baptist Church of Frankstown.
She loved her family and her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 3: 00 p. m. Friday June 23, 2023 at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Dewight Scott and Eddie Scott officiating. Burial will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.
She is survived by 3 daughters Sheila Carpenter (Mike) of Baldwyn, Jackie Green of Baldwyn, Kandye Escobedo (Roger) of Sachse TX, son Mark Morris (Amy) of Baldwyn, sisiters Ella Scott of Moore OK, Gaye Cooper (Jerry) of Mantachie, brother Dewight Scott (Dixie) of Baldwyn, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Orden and Vera Myhand Scott, 1st husband Jack Morris, 2nd husband Richard Arnold, daughter Shelly Morris Johnson, 2 grandchildren Georgye Ann Johnson Davis, Joseph Escobedo, granddaughter in law Christy Teal Johnson, brothers George Scott (Francine), Wayne Scott, and a sister Jewel Scott Brooks.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons Keith Carpenter, Daniel Johnson, Bryan Morris, Chris Morris, Josh Stowers, Matt Green, Kaleb Green, Andrew Escobedo. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters Melissa Herzog, Jodye Johnson, Christy McElhaney, Hannah Escobedo and Zowye Green.
Visitation will be 1 p. m. until service time Friday June 23, 2023 at Waters Funeral Home. In lou of flowers the family ask donations be made to The Gideon's Charity.
