Wanda Lea Goeden, age 82 of Malvern, died Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Baptist Medical Center in Malvern. She was born on December 26, 1935 in the Antioch Community near Malvern to the late William Allen Hodges and Sarah Alice Davis Hodges. Reared and receiving most of her early education at Social Hill and Malvern, she was a 1955 graduate of Bell Garden, California High School. She was a homemaker and the widow of the late Bob Goeden, who preceded her in death in 2009. A resident of San Antonio, Texas for many years, she moved back to Malvern in 2017 after the death of her son, Richard Goeden.

Mrs. Goeden attended the Assembly of God Church. She and her husband traveled extensively, and they both enjoyed photography. Mrs. Goeden loved listening to gospel music, working in her garden, and watching the Dallas Cowboys play football.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Harmon of Longview, Texas; a brother, Houston Hodges, also of Longview.

The youngest of 21 children, she was also preceded in death by 19 siblings.

The family will receive friends at J. A. Funk Funeral Home on Friday evening, July 6, 2018, from six until eight o'clock.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday morning, July 7, 2018 at ten o'clock in the Upper Antioch Cemetery with her nephew, Leonard Hodges officiating.
