"Grace Anna Jones, age 100, died Feb. 24, 2012 in Wickenburg, Ariz. She was born Nov. 30, 1911 to Gertrude and Emery Kurtz in Corona, Calif. The family moved to Phoenix in 1912.
Grace graduated from Phoenix Union High and attended one year at Phoenix College. She met her husband in Sedona, Ariz. Grace was a homemaker and worked for the post office in Quartzsite, Ariz. She enjoyed sewing, reading and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Claire Jones. Grace is survived by her sons, Samuel (Patricia), James (Madeline), three grandchildren, two step-grandsons, three great-granddaughters, one step-great-granddaughter and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held at Cochise Gardens of Rest in Benson, Ariz. on March 2, 2012 at 2 p.m.
David's Desert Chapel Funeral Home of Wickenburg, Ariz. handled the arrangements."
