She died 21 Feb 1774 in Tolland, Tolland County, Connecticut and was buried next to her in-laws, Solomon and Abigail Loomis.
Her father was buried at Louisbourg, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia where he died in the French & Indian War. He survived the battle but died during the subsequent occupation of the fort, due to harsh climate and poor sanitation.
Mary's husband Solomon Loomis may be buried next to his second wife Mary Johnson Loomis; neither site has been confirmed.
