Cindy was born on December 7th, 1955, and grew up in Parks, Louisiana. She lived a life full of love, generosity, and service to others. Cindy was a devout Catholic and long-time parishioner of St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church. She spent many years volunteering for the Sodality of Mary in St. Martinville as well as taught Catechism and made Rosaries.

In her free time, Cindy enjoyed fishing, pontoon boat riding, camping, cutting the grass, doing puzzles and diamond art projects. She also loved playing cards, going to the casino with her friends and visiting with her loved ones while drinking coffee.

One of Cindy's passions was to make every holiday special. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family during birthdays and holidays. Her children and grandchildren received birthday cards from her each year along with $20 tucked safely inside.

Cindy was considered a safe place for the many children that she counseled or spent time with. Her kindness knew no bounds as she always put others before herself.

Cindy has left behind an irreplaceable void in many hearts - she will always be remembered for the joyous memories that she has left behind. Her legacy will continue to live on through the countless individuals whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gerald Bonin; daughters, Tonya Doucet (Jody) and Lindsey Cormier (Seth); son, Kevin Bonin (Raquel); brother, Karl Thibodeaux (Cecile); grandchildren, Taisey Hatfield (Ryan), Cara Lane (Holden), Chloe Sparkman (Preston), Gavin Doucet, Gage Guidry (Alexis), Sydney Bonin, Jacob Potier, Ariana Cormier, Adalyn Cormier and Avielle Cormier; and ten great-grandchildren.
