Obituaryin "Davis County Clipper" newspaper, dated May 27, 1927 reads as follows:

Alzina Call Tingey of Centerville Called
Mrs. Alzina Call Tingey passed away at her home in Centerville, Thursday, May 26, 1927. She had been in poor health for about two and a half years and bed fast for about fifteen weeks.
She was born in Iowa, August 12,1848, the daughter of Josiah and Henrietta Williams Call, arriving is Salt Lake Valley in the fall of 1849 settling in Bountiful. She went with her parents to Fillmore at the call of President Brigham Young. Her father was killed by the Indians. The family then returned to Bountiful where she lived and went through the hardships and privations with the pioneers.
December 27, 1863, she married Thomas Tingey in the old Endowment House.
They moved to Centerville shortly after where she has resided ever since.
Twelve children, eleven boys and one girl were born to them. Her husband and seven children preceded her to the great beyond. Those living are Perry G and William W of Gray, Idaho, Cyril C. of Evanston Wyoming, Bishop Wesley E. and Mrs. Nettie A. Tingey of Centerville. She also raised four grandchildren. She leaves forty two grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
In 1888, she was called to act as counselor in the Relief Society in which capacity she acted until 1901 when she was called to preside. She was honorably released in 1910, after long and faithful service.
She was beloved by all for her sterling qualities and was a ministering angel to the sick and to those in distress. Her example before her associates and friends was always one of loyalty, faith, peace, love of the gospel and humility.
She leaves a host of family and friends to mourn her loss.
Dear mother of mine, with love devine, thou hast led this wandering heart of mine and taught to us the truth and right and the way to gain eternal life. May we hold fast to the precepts of God and when we join that Heavenly sphere, may we meet you there, my mother dear.
Funeral services will be held in the Bountiful Tabernacle, Sunday May 29th at 2 p.m.
