Katherine D. Erath, 92, a member of a pioneer Patterson Heights family, died Friday, Nov. 6, 1987, in the Medical Center, Beaver, where she had been a patient for five weeks. Born July 25, 1895, in Patterson Heights, a daughter of the late Phillip B. and Catherine Klear Erath, she was a resident of the Beaver Valley Geriatric Center, Brighton Township, for 5 1/2 years, and prior to that time, she resided at Seventh Avenue, Patterson Heights. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Beaver Falls. She was preceded in death by six brother, Charles, Philip, Earl, Eugene, Roy and William Erath, and five sisters, Mary Fenchel, Anna Fair, Elizabeth Prosser, Viola Erath and Emma May Erath. Friends will be received today from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in Campbell's Beaver Falls, 14th Street and Eight Avenue, where a service will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. with her nephews, the Rev. Charles E. Fair, S.T.M., and the Rev. Thomas E. Prosser, officiating. Interment will be in Beaver Falls Cemetery, Chippewa Township.
