Tama Free Press, Tama, Iowa, 14 Jan 1897, pg 5, col 6:
"Died. After a short sickness, at the age of (can't read) months, Beatrice Robeson, the only child of Mr. Charles Robeson. Beatrice was a beautiful, lovely child, the pet and joy of the whole community. Her mother, Mrs. Emma (Sexton) Robeson died a little over a year ago leaving the little one motherless at the age of three months. The little one seemed to inherit all the graceful, amiable charms and goodness of her mother. She was a great favorite (illegible lines) in all our social circles. Rev. Kight delivered a pathetic funeral address at the home after which the remains were interred in that beautiful temple of the dead, Oak Hill cemetery, Tama, along side her mother. To the sorrowing parents and relative we extend our sympathy and condolence.
