Curtis Warren Anderson was born on September 3, 1942 to Arthur and Laura Anderson of Wayne, Nebraska. Curt was raised on the Anderson Farm and went to country school through 8th grade. He started high school in Concord, Nebraska. When the school closed at the end of his Junior year, he went to Wayne High School and graduated in 1959. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force. During his tenure in the Air Force, he was stationed in Texas, Offutt Air Base and Okinawa. He was honorably discharge in July of 1964. Curt went to work for BF Goodrich Tire Company for 2 years. Then he went to work for Sac City Feed Store and Hatchery in Sac City, Iowa. He returned to BF Goodrich in 1968. When BF Goodrich sold he worked for Tire Centers and became manager until 2009 when he retired from there. He then went to work for Luxa Construction and Silex Group.

Curt Married Maureen Barsby of Woodbine, Iowa in January 1965. To this union 4 children were born. Scott Allen, who died at birth, Craig, Jolene, and Renee. Curt and Maureen raised their family in Omaha, Nebraska and Woodbine, Iowa. Curt was raised in the Lutheran Church but became an active member at Faith Christian Church in 2011. Curt lived in Omaha until his death.

Curtis Warren Anderson passed away quietly in his sleep on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at the age of 80 years, 7 months, and 15 days.

Preceding Curtis in death are his parents, Arthur T. and Laura Anderson, son Scott, Brothers Wallace and Harlan, sisters-in-law Verlyn Anderson, Zelma Anderson, Janet Anderson, and brother-in-law Larry Test.

Survivors include his wife, Maureen, of 58 years, one son, Craig and wife, Dayna of Spokane, Washington, Jolene Roberts and husband Greg, of Fort Washington, Maryland, and Renee Lutz and husband Mark of Denison, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Jacob, Emily, and Jensen Anderson, Jordan Roberts Ward, Jaide and Jessica Roberts, Delaney, Brady, and Haley Lutz, and five great grandchildren, Shelby, Dyson, Oden, Zen, and Jiii Rae, plus a host of other family members and friends.
