She was born November 22, 1843, and married to her surviving husband, February 14, 1861, by Rev. A.R. Brown. Five interesting children are left without their mother's tender care. One preceded her to the spirit land of the blessed, who the dying mother in transports of joy beheld coming to welcome her to the joys of the eternal home. Her's was one of the happiest of deaths. She in early life became a member of the Lutheran Church at London. May the bereaved parents, husband and many relatives be comforted in the Lord in this darkest hour of trial.
