YARMOUTH - Andrew H. Heywood, 65, of Sunset Point, a retired Westinghouse Electric Corp. executive died unexpectedly Wednesday at his home. A resident here the past three years, Mr. Heywood returned to Maine from Pittsburg, Pa., where he and his wife, the former Virginia Small of Yarmouth, lived many years. At the time of his retirement five years ago after a lifelong career with Westinghouse, he was assistant to the corporations vice president for marketing. Mr. Heywood was born in Pownal April 23, 1906, son of Charles adn Ella Hodsdon Heywood. He attended Pownal schools, was graduated from North Yarmouth Academy here and from the School of Electrical Engineering at Northeastern University, Boston. While with Westinghouse he lived and worked in Cincinnati, Buffalo and Pittsburgh. In Pittsburg, he was a member of the Shadyside Presbyterian Church, the University Club and a 32nd degree Mason of the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Pippsburgh. Mr. Heywood was also a member of Casco Lodge, Af & AM, here and of the Buffalo Canoe Club of Ridegway, Ontario. Surviving, besides his wife, are two daughters, Mrs. Joseph W. Calby of Princeton Junction, N.J., and Mrs. George P. Lee of Charleston, W. Va., and four grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the lindquist Funeral Home. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery.

HEYWOOD - In Yarmouth, April 14, Andrew H. Heywood of Sunset Point, Yarmouth. Private funeral service at the Lindquist Funeral home, 37 Portland St., Yarmouth. Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Spring interment in Riverside Cemetery, Yarmouth. There will be no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Maine Heart Associations, Augusta, Maine.
