Earl M. Durham rites Thursday
JACKSON - Earl M. (Bull) Durham, a native of Coahoma County who lived most of his life in Clarksdale and Friars Point, died Tuesday night, Aug. 28, 1990, here at Hinds General Hospital following a long illness. He was 69.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lakewood Funeral home Memorial Chapel on Clinton Blvd. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery (aka Memorial Park).

A retired salesman, Mr. Durham had lived in Jackson for the past 25 years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was a member of the American Legion and the VFW. He was a Methodist.

Surviving him are his widow, Jewel (Reeves) Durham of Jackson (married 19 Sep 1942); a daughter, Patsy Durham Clements of Isola; two sons, Earl M. Durham Jr. of Ft Walton Beach, Fla., and Allen Durham of Jackson; two sisters, Joyce Durham Fili of Friars Point and Lela Durham McKinnon of West Memphis, Ark.; a brother, W. M. (Sugar) Durham of Clarksdale; five grandchildren and two godchildren, Maureen Burns and Rick Burns of Jackson.
