George Richard Moore, 57 years old, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 1875, at Providence Hospital. George was born in Kansas City, Kansas, and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Moore had been employed as a locomotive engineer for the Union Pacific Railroad for 32 years. He was a member of the Wyandotte Masonic Lodge and an Army veteran of World War II.
He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth Moore, and his mother, Mrs. Maude B. Moore, both of the home. Services were at the Porter Chapel, where friends called. Interment was at Highland Park Cemetery.
