Harry W. Alexander, 81, a resident of Tyrone, entered eternal life Sunday at Gila Regional Medical Center. He was born, Jan.3, 1916, in Pocatello, Idaho, to the late William Alexander and Carrie (Bippes) Alexander. Mr. Alexander, a retired mine superintendent moved to Tyrone from Shammrock, Texas, in 1990. A memorial graveside service has been scheduled for Saturday morning at 10 at Memory Lane Cemetery with Mario Sanchez officiating. He is survived by four sons; Steven W. Alexander and his wife, Aurea, of Santarem, Brazil; Lloyd Alexander and his wife, Julie of Tucson, Arizona; Daniel Alexander of Phoenix, and Garry Alexander of Silver City; two daughters, Carolyn Alexander of Belen and Laurel Bagley and her husband, Eddie, of Silver City; a brother, Jim Alexander and his wife, Bernadine, of Boise, Idaho; three sisters, Louise Trautman and her husband, Kenneth; Marguerite Dalton and Nedra Blackwell, all of Boise, Idaho; and a sister-in-law, Anabelle Alexander, also of Boise. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, David L., Justin, David, Daniel, Jacqueline, Laurel and Heather Alexander. Mr. Alexander was preceeded in death by his wife, Billie Alexander, a brother, Bob Alexander, and his son Harry Lynn Alexander. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Meals on Wheels or San Vincente Home Care Center.
