COURIER JOURNAL OBITUARY – 01/29/1961
WIMSATT - Mrs. Lillian, 65 years of age, died at 5 a.m. Saturday [January 28, 1961] at St. Edwards Hospital. Residence 519 E. Market, New Albany, IN. Former resident of Louisville. Surviving, a son, Joseph R. Wimsatt, Floyds Knobs, IN; 5 daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Hammond, New Albany, Mrs. Anna Marie Newman, Mrs. Lillian Padgett, Mrs. James Ramsey, all of Louisville, and Mrs. John Smith of Millen, GA; 3 sisters, Sister Mary Sebastian, Sister Mary Gonzaga, both of Louisville, Miss Anna Lyddane of Owensboro, KY; 35 grandchildren. Remains are at the Kraft Funeral Home, New Albany, IN. Funeral services will be held at 8:45 a.m. Monday from Holy Trinity Church. Interment will be at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery at 2 p.m. Monday.
