Lena Faye Townsend, 84, Hudson, passed away Friday, June 4, 2010, at her residence.
She was born in Caldwell County to the late John Wesley Austin and Bonnie Bumgarner.
She was also preceded by her husband, Leonard Lincoln Townsend, four brothers, John Cletus Austin, Clarence Cecil Austin, Emory A. Austin, and Doyle F. Austin.
She is survived by two sisters, Martha Austin Clark and Mary L. (Bill) Austin.
She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Friendship Baptist Church with Dr. Wayne Caviness officiating.
Interment will follow the service in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
