Mr. David Arnold Bourie, 69, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family following an extended illness. David is the son of the late Frank and Geneva Wyatt Bourie and is preceded in death by one son David Arnold Bourie, Jr. He had made Ft. White, FL his home for the past forty-nine years after moving here from Miami, FL. He loved working with his hands, whether it was building a house or gardening. He was a master mechanic and loved restoring old cars and building and flying R/C planes. David and his wife, Brenda, shared fifty wonderful years of marriage. He was a very family-oriented man who loved to create adventures for everyone to enjoy. He worked professionally as an Electronic Tech for Anheuser Busch's lid-making plant, Metal Container Corp in Gainesville, Florida for over twenty-five years.

David is survived by his wife Brenda Lee Bourie, Ft. White, FL., one daughter Bridgette Lee Bourie Pettyjohn (James II) two brothers, Frank "Buck" Bourie and Huron "Cooper" Bourie, and five sisters Elizabeth, Ethel, Lorraine, Carolyn, and Wanda. Two grandchildren Katelyn Lee Pettyjohn and Ethan James Pettyjohn.
