Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023, First Presbyterian Church, 1000 Penn Street, Fort Worth.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
Sara was born March 26, 1925, in Aspermont, Texas. She was the youngest of nine children born to Hugh and Myrtle Rose Anderson. Sara was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her children and her stepchildren. Sara lived a long, beautiful life spent loving her ever-growing family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a tremendous source of joy for her, and she always made them feel uniquely special. She will be missed.
Survivors: Sons, Steve Fowlkes and wife, Ellen; Mark Fowlkes and wife, Gina; grandchildren, Houston Fowlkes and wife, Elizabeth, Caitlan Flinn and husband, Milt and Gage Fowlkes; great-grandchildren, Sofia Fowlkes, Emilia Fowlkes, Mary Ellen Flinn and Whitman Flinn.
