Graveside services for Daniel Terry Konopnicki, 58, of Conroe will be held on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at 3 p.m. in Garden Park Cemetery with Dr. W. C. Burns officiating. Mr. Konopnicki was born Nov. 8, 1948 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on Nov. 5, 2007 at his home in Conroe, Texas. Daniel was a computer systems coordinator who had worked at Sam Houston State University for the past 15 plus years. Before that, he worked for 16 years with oil companies Mobil Oil, Superior Oil and Texaco. He is survived by his son, John Konopnicki of The Woodlands; mother, Tina Konopnicki of Yuma, Arizona; sister, Rebecca Smelser and husband John of St. Louis, Missouri; and brother, Bill Konopnicki and wife Cathy of Safford, Arizona.
