Gordon, Lois 8/10/1921 - 9/26/2015 Ann Arbor Age 94, died Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Arbor Hospice Residence. After retirement, Lois enjoyed, greatly, being with her husband, Ray. Even the smallest of moments, when they were together, was appreciated by them as if a major event; and, because of this, their life together was lived to the fullest. Her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were always the joy of her life. Lois and Ray, her husband, loved each other deeply and with good humor for 58 years. In the later part of her husband's life, she was a loving and tireless caregiver and wife. Even when Lois and Ray were momentarily separated, perhaps running an errand, each was clearly in the thoughts of the other. It is because of this, one of her families' greatest hopes and consolations is that they are together again.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond P. Gordon Sr and is survived by her children; Raymond P. (Susan Maldonado) Gordon II, Michael (Suzanne M. Simon) Gordon, and Kathleen (Scott A) Miller, five grandchildren; Michelle (Gordon) LaForest, Kelley (Gordon) Roller, Joseph Gordon, Coleson Gordon, Natalie (Rangel) Neuhart, four great-grandchildren; Kylie Gordon, Madelyn Gordon, Althea Nauhart and August Neuhart, her brother, Claude V. Jackson, and her sister, Virginia (Jackson) Faulkner.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the American Heart Association or Arbor Hospice. The family will receive friends 4-9 pm, Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Nie Family Funeral Home, Liberty Road Chapel, 3767 W. Liberty Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103. A Christian Funeral will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at St Andrews Catholic Church, 910 Austin Rd, Saline, MI 48176 with visitation at the church one hour prior to the Mass. A private burial will be held at White Chapel Cemetery.
