MRS. ALICE N. YOUNG

Mrs. Alice Nevada Young, 85, of 6806 North Walnut, died yesterday at Downtown hospital. She was born in Lamoni, Ia., and lived in Kansas City 53 years.


Mrs. Young was a member of St. Charles Catholic church, Gladstone.


Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lillian E. DeFeo of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Nettie Travis, 4913 Chouteau; Mrs. Lucinda Young, 1744 South Fourteenth, Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs. Ruth Arnold, DeRuyter, N. Y.; a brother, George Frink, Fort Lupton, Colo.; two grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.


Services will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday at the Newcomer chapel, Brush Creek and the Paseo, and at 9:30 o'clock at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic church (St. Mary's); burial in Mount Olivet cemetery. The rosary will be said at 8 o'clock Wednesday night at the chapel, where friends may call after 7 o'clock tonight.
