Ila was the only daughter of Bradford and Clara Gamblin. She was just thirteen when moving from Dent County, Missouri to Alberta, Canada with her family. While playing on the bed with her little brothers she struck her head on the steel bedframe. She died 3 days later from Apoplexy, a blood clot in the brain. Her family although devastated, had to move on leaving her grave behind. Left to grieve for her were her brothers Phillip, Otis, Burnice, Gus and Jewel. She was predeceased by her little brother Emerson.
She was my aunt.
