Harold is the husband of elna Mae ( Nelson) Barnes

Harold had his own Barber Shop in downtown Tustin.
He was a bus driver and Mechanic for Pine River School systems.
I remember riding on his bus while visiting. He even cut my hair a time or two .
My son Douglas's 1st hair cut was from Uncle Harold

He enlisted and served in the Army and due to a mistake in paper work was drafted in to the Navy
not making the Navy enlistment because he was already in the Army, he was listed as AWOL from the Navy, and had to see the Naval courts. so finally was transferred to the Navy. so he served both Army and Navy.this is all due to the oversight of the goverment. ha ha
He was drafted to the Army.
