Daniel Boone Ball, farmer of New Liberty, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25th at the home of his son, Raymond O. Ball, Sr. The cause of death was listed as paralysis.

He was a member of Odd Fellows lodge at New Liberty, and was a deacon in the New Liberty Baptist Church for many years.

He was the son of Samuel and Martha Ford Ball. He was married to Miss Mary Riley who preceded him in death many yars ago. To this union was born five children, three of which died in infancy. One son, Shelly, passed away at the age of 22. He made his home with his surviving son. He later was married to Miss Addie Bell who died in May of last year.

In addition for his surviving son, he is survived by three brothers, T. M. Ball of Louisville, Oscar Ball of Worthville,R-1, and S. T. Ball of Owenton; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hall of Newport and Mrs. Ada Cull of Owenton.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the New Liberty church by Rev. Ray Stewart. Burial was at IOOF cemetery.
