6 Aug 1901: Funeral services were held this morning at the Walmers Church, in East Hanover Twp over the body of John A. Dotter. He was born January 12, 1828 and was married to Henrietta (Doyle) Dotter. The obsequies were held from the old Dotter homestead where he resided all of his life. Among those who left this city on the 8:58 train, on the Lebanon and Tremont Railroad to attend the funeral were: Andrew Dotter and family; Mrs. M. B. Gerlach and daughters; and Grant Schaeffer, all of this city; and Mrs. Caroline D. Hedrich, of Reading; and Daniel Fegan, of Annville. Interment was made in the Mt. Annville Cemetery.
