Lois M. Bazzell, 73, Fairbury, passed away at 6:17pm Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at OSF St. James – John W. Albrecht Medical Center.
Lois was born August 27, 1949 in Fairbury, IL; the daughter of Kenneth and Rose (Faw) Hornsby. They both precede her in death.
In 1975 Lois became a certified EMT and was one of the first female members of the SELCAS ambulance crew. She also enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles, making plastic canvas decorations for the holidays and her cat Whitey. Lois was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed by many.
Burial at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
