In 1883,Julia Marion "Jule" Cooke married her brother-in-law, Virginius Robert Henley, following the death of her sister, Martha Elmina "Mina" (Cooke) Henley.

Jule was a daughter of James Edward Cooke (ca1810-May,1855) & Sarah Harris Steger of Cumberland and Powhatan Counties, VA.
