Funeral services for Wilma Alice "Dubby" Spivak, age 90, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, at 10:00 AM CST at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. John Noel officiating. Burial will follow on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 12 noon EST at Mountain View Memorial Park in Traveler's Rest, South Carolina.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM CST on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

Mrs. Spivak passed away Monday, May 8, 2023, at Traylor's Nursing Center in Roanoke.

Survivors include: one daughter, Kelly Wesson (Charles) of Roanoke; one son, Kevin Boyd Ingram (Helen) of Greenville, SC; and three grandchildren, Zachery Wesson, Gloria Wesson, and Kathrine Ingram.

A Tennessee native, Mrs. Spivak was born on February 20, 1933, the daughter of Joseph Grady and Roxie Aline Boyd Hayes. She was a member of the Roanoke First Methodist Church and was a professional singer. Mrs. Spivak was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Charlie Spivak and Euwell Giles; and three brothers, Carl Hayes, Harold Hayes, and Ray Hayes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
