Died at Age of Ninety. James F. Stillwell, One of Oldest and Earliest Pioneers. James F. Stillwell died at seven o'clock Wednesday morning at the home of his son George at the age of 90 years. He was born in Ohio June 28 1819.
He moved from Ohio to Michigan in 1838 and has been a resident of this part of the state since that date. He was always a farmer.
He was married August 10, 1845 to Miss Mary Ann Ralph, whose death occurred several years ago. They had six children, of whom five survive.
They are George, with whom he made his home some time previous to his death, Charles and Erwin who live in the west, Mrs. Emma Durand of Allegan and Mrs. W. A. Carey of Charleston. He also leaves several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held this afternoon at one o'clock at his late home. Burial was at Riverside cemetery in Charleston.
