Sincere and kind in heart and mind, what a beautiful memory she left behind. She graduated from East Union High School, Class of 1964. (This was the largest class of graduates for the school). She was a member of the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC where she served on the Health Committee and volunteered in the food pantry until her health failed. She worked at Atrium Health for 42 years. She was a Phlebotomist. She made people feel so much better because she was kind, and had a beautiful smile and heart. She married the love of her life, the late Joseph Calvin Hamilton in 1971, and in 2007, Calvin and Roberta took a second chance at love and remarried. Calvin and Roberta were not just spouses but were great friends. They enjoyed traveling, laughter, love, and companionship until Calvin's transition from Earth.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy Maske and Charlotte Jackson Maske; her husband, Joseph Calvin Hamilton; brothers-in-law, William Caldwell and Dale Cash; and her doggie, Poppy. Charlotte (Roberta as we fondly called her was known for her beautiful smile and kind heart) she was known as "The Kissy Auntie" and "The Hugging Sibling".She was a devoted Wife, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.

The Family will greet family and friends on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 11:00-11:30 am at Smith's Memorial Chapel. The public viewing for Mrs. Hamilton will be on Friday, May 20, 2022 from 3:00-6:00 pm at Smith's Memorial Chapel. Face Masks/Coverings are asked to be worn.
