Charlotte Roberta Maske Hamilton, the 1st child born to Troy Maske and Charlotte Jackson Maske was born November 1, 1946, in Galveston, Texas. She wished no one a last farewell or even said goodbye. She was gone before we knew it on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at Hospice House of Union County.

Sincere and kind in heart and mind, what a beautiful memory she left behind. She graduated from East Union High School, Class of 1964. (This was the largest class of graduates for the school). She was a member of the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Charlotte, NC where she served on the Health Committee and volunteered in the food pantry until her health failed. She worked at Atrium Health for 42 years. She was a Phlebotomist. She made people feel so much better because she was kind, and had a beautiful smile and heart. She married the love of her life, the late Joseph Calvin Hamilton in 1971, and in 2007, Calvin and Roberta took a second chance at love and remarried. Calvin and Roberta were not just spouses but were great friends. They enjoyed traveling, laughter, love, and companionship until Calvin's transition from Earth.
