"Lyons - Last Thursday morning at about 5 o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. Flora Aumock, wife of William Aumock, at her home one mile south of this village. She was ill but a short time with tonsilitis which developed into membraneous croup. Deceased was about 43 years of age and leaves besides a husband, three sons and a little daughter about ten years of age to mourn her departure. Other survivors are an aged father, mother and one brother. The funeral was held at her late home Sunday at half past twelve o'clock, Rev. J. K. Drake officiating. The remains were placed in the Butler and Savannah cemetery. Those who attended the funeral from out of town were Henry Aumock, father of William Aumock, his brother, Sylvester Aumock and wife, all of Syracuse, George Aumock and wife of Ithaca and a sister from Red Creek.
