He graduated from Yuba City High School in 1979 and pursued many careers. He loved assisting his clients while working at Sutter County Social Services but his years with Habitat for Humanity were his happiest.

David will be remembered for his passion for music and laughter. He was quick to lend a helping hand or to tell a joke or two. He loved telling stories of his family. His favorite story to tell was how he found out he fathered a daughter when he was young and did not know about her until she was 38 years old. She completed his happiness.

David's memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Church of Yuba City on July 22, 2023, at 10 am. The family suggests wearing shorts to honor Dave. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Habitat for Humanity.
