Sharon Kay LaFee of Humeston passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 22, 2023.
Sharon was born on October 13, 1956 to William and Hazel Adams. She attended Cincinnati elementary school and later Centerville high school. She finished her GED and went on to get her CNA. She worked as a CNA until she was too injured to do that line of work anymore. She married the love of her life Roger on May 21, 2002.
Sharon was an old soul and lived by an old code. She loved her family and friends with all she had, but especially the love of her life Roger.
Sharon is survived by her husband Roger; her children Izetta Smith of Winfield Kansas, Freedom Allen (Donovan Cook) of Keokuk, Iowa, SheriKay (Brandon) Van Winkel of Osceola, Iowa, Lashelle (Phillip) McCarl of Chariton, Iowa, Trey Wiand of Des Moines Iowa her brother Carl (Joyce) Adams of Cincinnati, Iowa; along with her grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews. She will be missed dearly by her loved ones.
She was preceded in death by her parents William and Hazel Adams; her brothers Jim and Dennis Adams; her granddaughter Makya Morningstar; and her Beloved husband John Foss.
A graveside service to honor Sharon will be on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 11:45AM, at the Humeston Cemetery. Memorials have been established for the family to determine at a later date.
